🐝 Fact: One Bee Makes Just 1/12 Teaspoon of Honey
It takes a lot of teamwork to fill a jar of honey!
A single honeybee will make only about 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey in her entire lifetime. That means it takes thousands of bees working together to produce just one pound of honey!
These tiny foragers fly up to 55,000 miles and visit over 2 million flowers to make that pound. Their hard work is a sweet reminder of the power of cooperation—and why we treasure every drop of honey here at SHoney Farm.
🐝 Next time you enjoy a spoonful of honey, give a little thanks to the bees who made it possible—one flower at a time.
